It's Dumb to be Dumb, When You're Not Dumb
List for Harrah's $1/$2 NL was long, I felt froggy, I took a $2/$5 NL seat.
First half hour at the table, I get Kings on the button. Small blind has Aces, we get it all-in for $300 each, I covered, flop a King, I'm up $425 with the quickness, in the game for $300.
Coupla hands go by, then this happens: http://tr.im/wUTy
I tell the dealer she doesn't need to call the floor, LP has to make it $90. EP says I'm wrong, I offer a $100 side wager. He pwns me by knowing Harrah's is dumb. Floor rules that it's just a call, I don't argue, give the guy $100.
I proceed to go on tilt, figure I'm free-rolling because I survived KK vs AA. I shove w/ OESD, backdoor flush draw, AA calls $560 more w/ best hand. I'm felted, I go up to the room and cry on 2p2 about the gross injustice.
As I type, I'm sitting $1/$2 NL... not nec a good idea. Need zen.
My kingdom for a competent ruling...
